The New York Yankees added another arm for the stretch run, getting right-hander Chad Gaudin from the San Diego Padres on Thursday night for a player to be named or cash considerations. The Mets acquired infielder Anderson Hernandez from the Washington Nationals for minor league infielder Greg Veloz.
